SIZING THE GREEN MACHINE™
How Much Gas Can Your BGC Compress?
We build The Beam Gas Compressor™ in many
different configurations from 4.5 inches in diameter to 18 inches
and with strokes from a foot to nearly 10 feet.
Since your pumping unit is the prime mover of the BGC™, the
pumping unit, gas volume and line pressure will be the
determining factor of volume capabilities of the BGC™.
The pumping unit will determine the BGC™ stroke length and
The strokes per minute as well as the percentage of run time
(percent of 24 hours),
The discharge line pressure (flow line) and the gas volume
(MCFD) will determine the diameter of the BGC™ system.
No two pumping units are configured the same because of this.
Here are some examples of volumes of gas moved daily based
on our 48” compression stroke with different diameters and
suction pressures.
Just click on the diameter size below to go to the appropriate chart.
548, 648, 748, 848, 948, 1048, 1248, 1448, 1648, 1848
The charts show a variety of strokes per minute
and casing pressures.
The examples are based on 100% run time.
The BGC™ is manufactured with compression strokes from 12” (1 foot) up to
and including 109” (9 feet).
We have a BGC™ that will match your application.
